Marina Brewers Fayre, nestled at Wharf Farm in Hinckley, is a delightful family restaurant that has captured the hearts of its visitors. Surrounded by a picturesque canal, it offers a scenic outdoor seating area that enhances the dining experience immensely. Guests consistently rave about the welcoming atmosphere provided by the friendly staff. Reviewers like Natalie Hunt and Bob Witherstone emphasize not just the pleasant service, but also the ability of the team to accommodate special dietary needs for families with children, making it an inclusive spot for all diners.
The menu does not disappoint either; diners have praised the quality of the food, particularly the carvery, which serves generous portions of meat paired with unlimited roasted potatoes, although some items like the children's spaghetti bolognese could be more satisfying. Nevertheless, the hearty and flavorful offerings, including crispy chips and expertly cooked steaks, leave an impression. Many have expressed a desire to return, with friends and family gathering for enjoyable meals in this vibrant setting. Overall, Marina Brewers Fayre is a must-visit for those seeking a warm, joyful, and delicious dining experience.

Beautiful location with a canal running along side the pub and has outside seating area. Staff were all polite, friendly and very welcoming. I have 2 children with allergies and the staff were amazing and accommodated their requirements which made our visit very smooth. Food was delicious and kids loved the play area.

It all started with a fabulous welcoming and when we ordered our food and drink the attitude, warmth and humour shown by Olivia was better than first class! A credit to your company, The Marina and to herself! Thankyou to all but a massive one to the young lady; we shall be back.

We spent the afternoon at the Triumph tour and booked dinner in advanced for 8 people (1 child) The staff were great, the manager was sett8ng up the table as we arrived and as I booked with a child, allocated a space near the play area which was brilliant. The carvery was great, the parsnips and potatoes weren't crispy but were delicious nonetheless. The mash potato was questionable looking so I steered clear but other members said it was nice. Two people had steak and they were fantastic! Bigger than I had anticipated and cooked exactly as ordered. Chips were crispy and all the food came hot. The only grumble we had was the children's portions. We had a 10 year old with us who was over the moon they has spagetti bologna on the menu. When it came, the bowl was the size of a teacup, and for the 'bigger childrens' portion size, it was disappointing. There wasn't alot of sauce, so it was quite dry. He ended up having the Yorkshire puddings which were unlimited, and was thrilled, but that was really the only let down. The carvery has unlimited roast potatos, however they were by the meat, so with a queue of people, they were not easy to access and refill as the vegetables, but still lovely. The chap serving the carvery was very friendly and chaty. We had a great time, and the IPA was smashing. We would definitely come back, however would order an adults meal as opposed to a child meal next time.

I’ve visited previously but never took any photos. Unlimited breakfast meals are becoming scarce, so I’m delighted that I’ve found one that isn’t too far away from home. It’s a help-yourself breakfast place. The food is nice for the money you pay. The menu has a selection of hot food, continental, and hot and cold drinks. You can’t complain for 10.99; it is money-saving and delightful.
